Our client is a rapidly growing manufacturing business with over 100 years of experience. Specialising in heavy engineering solutions using a continuous process they produce a range of bespoke and off-the-shelf products. With a strong reputation for quality and innovation, they are committed to delivering exceptional products to their clients.
With ambitious plans for the future, they have plans to introduce a new production line and grow the business by at least 20% YoY. As such they are looking for a talented Production Director to lead the manufacturing operations to new heights.
Production Director – The Role:
The role is vital to the future success of the business. As the Production Director, you will be at the heart of all manufacturing operations, overseeing daily production, managing operational budgets, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards and driving continuous improvement. You will play a pivotal role in streamlining processes, managing resources, and mentoring a skilled workforce.
Production Director – Key Responsibilities:
-Lead all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production planning, quality control and maintenance
-Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste and enhance productivity
-Manage and optimise the operational budget
-Mentor and develop team members, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment
Production Director – You:
-Culture change and leadership and coaching skills
- Proven experience in a high-level production management role within a continuous process environment
-Strong knowledge of continuous improvement in manufacturing processes
-A track record of implementing and managing lean manufacturing principles and practices
-Excellent problem-solving, decision making and communication skills
