Here at ISS , as one of the UK's largest Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to expand our engineering workforce dedicated against a major account in the utiilities sector
The account consists of corporate offices, depots and small infrastructure buildings, where the employer here complete electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance services plus small project/install work
Here, you will focus on Mechanical and HVAC related maintenance, both planned and reactive, completing jobs from Plumbing to Air Conditioning, but also working on pumps, motors, water cooling systems and more, plus some minor fabric.
There is also plenty of Project work to support on, some of which can be taken as overtime
Your region to cover will be Scotland's central belt, with some travel further afield, but this would be irregular, The focus will Glasgow, Livingston, Falkirk and Edinburgh
Role best suits a qualified Mechanical Engineer, with some maintenance experience keen to develop their career for a world class employer, and take some overtime (1 weekend a month).
Actions will include:
- To undertake the day-to-day PPM and reactive maintenance of clientsites to ensure their functionality, compliance and efficient operation
- Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements
- Ensure that all mechanical systems are maintained to standards
- Ensure water systems are maintained to comply with the requirements of the L8 ACOP
- Ensure the compliance of equipment and detailed record keeping for all tasks
- Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance
- Issue permits to work for high risk activities and ensure appropriate controls are adhered to
- Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices
- Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment and ensure compliance with all Company and Client policies and procedures
- To contribute to a call out rota for the mobile team by being available for call out when designated
We need from you:
- Mechanical qualifications plus some maintenance experience
