Reed Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of their client to join their dynamic team as a Logistics Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that has seen a 75% growth in the last year. Specialising in the manufacturing and global distribution of hanging work platforms, this role is crucial for managing our complex logistics operations.
Day-to-day of the role:
• Coordinate logistics for international shipping, including air, sea, and land transport.
• Liaise with external shipping partners to negotiate and ensure efficient transport of goods.
• Maintain and update all logistics systems to ensure accurate tracking of shipments.
• Manage imports and exports, ensuring compliance with global shipping regulations.
• Assist in various office tasks and support the team in a fast-paced environment.
• Oversee the inventory stored at our yard, ensuring it is well-organised and accessible.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in logistics, particularly in international shipping across air, sea, and land.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
• Experience in managing logistics systems and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations.
• Ability to work flexibly in a small team and contribute to various tasks.
• Knowledge of the logistics involved in manufacturing and shipping internationally.
