Pertemps are currently recruiting for drivers for our public sector client to be based in the Edinburgh area supporting a busy waste and cleansing department.

Location: Edinburgh East
Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 06.00-17.02 with 45min break
Rate of Pay: 12.81 rising to 14.35
Temporary ongoing work

Working with an established cleansing team to carry out duties right across the city to a high standard.

Duties to Include:

Driving the relevant vehicles
Working as part of a team
Heavy lifting - moving and loading wheelie bins, assisting with special uplifts
Undertaking the appropriate vehicle checks and paperwork
General street cleaning duties (sweeping, litter picking, weeding, removing leaves)
Carrying out instructions given out by supervisors

Essential requirements:

Valid Driving Licence
Maximum of 6 points on your licence
Ability to work weekends on a shift pattern basis

Have good customer service skills
Have previous driving experience
Work outdoors in all weather
