We are seeking a skilled Hooklift Driver to support operations at our Client's busy Recycling Centre. You will play a crucial role in the efficient collection and transport of recyclable materials, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate hooklift vehicles to collect and transport recycling containers.
  • Deliver materials to and from various recycling facilities and client sites.
  • Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with safety standards.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Work closely with the recycling team to maintain high operational efficiency.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:
  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
  • Current CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
  • Valid tacho card
  • Previous experience operating hooklift vehicles is essential.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Knowledge of Edinburgh's road network and surrounding areas.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work independently.
