Production Operative

MONDAY - THURSDAY, Day and Back Shift (AM/PM 6.00am - 2.00pm / 2.00pm - 10.00pm)

£12.00 PER HOUR 

People solutions are looking for Production Operative for our Client based in Edinburgh.

Day to Day Duties

  • General duties such as removing packaging, opening crates, unloading machinery
  • Assist machine operators
  • Sorting, picking & packing orders
  • Quality assurance of products
  • Record Stock
  • Clean and maintain warehouse
  • Compliance with health and safety

Essential Skills

  • Teamwork: Ability to work well as part of a team. Friendly, approachable and cooperative.
  • Flexibility: Responds effectively to changing circumstances. Adjusts tasks and priorities when required.
  • Customer Service: Good understanding of customer deliverables and the need for strong quality. Ability to work to essential quality standards.
  • Organisation: Ability to plan and organise work. Ability to work on own initiative, with minimum supervision.
  • Health & Safety: Understanding of health and safety requirements.

Desirable Experience

  • Current forklift truck certification and/or qualification to drive assisted lift equipment (Desirable but not essential)
  • Prior work experience as a laborer in a similar environment.
  • Fit for manual handling.
