Reed is delighted to be supporting a well-respected name in the social sector on an exciting new role within their finance team. My client is seeking a skilled payroll administrator to join the business on a permanent full-time basis. The organisation is offering hybrid working and a flexible approach to working.  

Your day-to-day duties will include processing end-to-end payrolls of varying frequencies, administering all holiday/absence payments and supporting with the month and year end.

The role is based next to various public transport links and with a competitive salary, you will be working alongside a friendly and personable team, working towards the company’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing end to end weekly and monthly payroll
  • Administering SSP, SMP and SPP
  • Tracking staff holidays
  • Processing starters and leavers
  • Collating timesheets and entering hours into system
  • Managing and resolving payroll queries
  • Assisting with ad hoc requests

Candidate Proficiencies

  • Experience with UK payroll - Essential
  • Skilled user of MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple workloads
  • Strong interpersonal skills
