We are seeking a Payroll Assistant to join an exciting chapter of a well-respected Accountancy Firm. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end payroll processes for a diverse range of organisations based across Scotland. This exciting new chapter for the firm comes in the wake of a host of new clients signing up to work with this organisation. 

With an ever-growing list of excellent testimonials, my client is eager to acquire a results-driven individual who is eager to showcase their payroll skills and build on them.

This role is a full-time permanent role with excellent flexibility and attractive working hours.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Prepare a range of payrolls with varying frequencies
  • Handling all calculations of overtime, SMP, SPP, SSP
  • Reconciling and creating reporting on payrolls
  • Maintain high attention to detail and strong organisational skills to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience within a payroll team.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Experience utilising MS Office packages
  • Proven ability to work well as part of a team
