Your new company

Our client is a reputable contractor committed to providing high-quality housing and maintenance services to council properties. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our team on a temporary basis.Your new role

Your responsibilities will include both the installation and maintenance of plumbing works in both residential and commercial properties, including;

  • Performing general plumbing work, including fixing issues with existing plumbing works.
  • Installing new plumbing works as required.
  • Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of plumbing works.
  • Responding to emergency plumbing issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

What you'll need to succeed

Our client is looking for a plumber whose background is maintenance plumbing and is comfortable in a maintenance environment, working with members of the public. Successful candidates will preferably have experience of maintenance plumbing in residential properties.Main requirements:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance plumber
  • Relevant plumbing qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing)
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
