How you’ll support us on our mission to keep people safe and warm…

  • You will be required to carry out effective management of the reinstatement activity
  • Work with contractors to ensure they carry out works to a high standard
  • Ensuring performance levels are maintained at the highest levels and meet operational targets, and that SGNs’ interests are maintained at all times.
  • Represent SGN at planning and coordination meetings with Road Authorities, including negotiating defect corrections.
  • Committed to working to the highest safety, health and environmental standards whilst continuing to provide customers with the highest levels of service.
  • Carry out quality audits to ensure a high level of safety is being followed at all times
  • Approving contractor’s applications for payment

What you’ll need

  • The successful person should have a thorough understanding of Reinstatement Standards and Specifications. Additionally, a thorough understanding of NRSWA and TMA Legislation is required.
  • You will have the appropriate technical experience and qualifications. A reasonable knowledge of the utility industry is required.
  • You will have good team leadership, organisational, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills, and be an effective communicator at all levels, within and beyond your own team.
  • A passion for managing change is important together with the ability to influence those around you to strive for excellence.
  • This position involves regular travel, and therefore you will have a full valid driving licence.
