Are you an experienced construction project manager looking for an opportunity to take a hands-on role in the delivery of a large project? A prominent main contractor is seeking individuals to lead a high-profile developments in Edinburgh. This offers the chance to be involved in the sharp end of construction on complex, high value projects.Â
Following a spate of successful contract awards, they will start to contribute significantly to the Edinburgh skyline in 2025 with a series of high rise building developments in the city. These projects are spade ready with programme commencement dates through the summer.
They are seeking project leaders capable of delivering to high standards.Â
Team Management: Oversee and coordinate the efforts of subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring effective team collaboration.
Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with clients and regulatory authorities, ensuring compliance and smooth communication.
Strategic Coordination: Liaise with the design team, commercial department, and on-site management to ensure seamless project execution.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain documentation, including RAMS and progress reports
Quality Assurance: Ensure the final product aligns with client expectations in terms of quality and finish.
Qualifications & Experience:- Project Experience: Demonstrable experience managing projects valued at £50M+ with a main contractor.
- Communication Skills: Being adept at dealing with client representatives on-site will be critical to success in the role
- Health & Safety Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and other relevant legislative requirements.
- IT Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
