Conrad Consulting are delighted to be supporting an international construction consultancy in their search for an experienced Senior Project Manager.

Their projects cover a wide spectrum of sectors including Commercial office space, build to rent, affordable housing, Education, Local Authority, Hotels and student accommodation.

Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager

You will either be the Project Lead for one or more projects, or you will work closely with an Associate Director or Director to deliver positive outcomes for their clients, depending on the project scale and scope.
Recognize the distinction between outcomes and outputs and take strategic responsibility for client outcomes rather than just outputs.
Management focused role with an emphasis on project delivery
Collaborate with Cost Managers (where applicable) to understand costs and achieve the best commercial results for their clients.
Line managerial responsibilities to junior members of staff
Confident and clear in your internal and external communication, both written and verbal
Understand business risk in terms of appointments, scope of services, and fee cashflows, identifying any issues that need to be addressed.
Organizing, carrying out, and leading project meetings with all project team members and stakeholder groups.
Take an active role in the preparation of tender documents in collaboration with the internal / external cost management department
Ensuring that a full and comprehensive understanding of the project requirements is conveyed and reflected in tender documentation.

Requirements of the Senior Project Manager

Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline/ or equivalent work experience
Member of APM/RICS/CIOB or equivalent professional organisation
Excellent interpersonal skills
You will provide best-in-class services to a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors and projects.
You will be equally at ease working independently as you will in a team.
It is essential you have experience working for a UK based Construction & Property Consultancy

On offer for the Senior Project Manager

Starting salary of between 55,000 - 60,000 depending on experience + benefits.
