Your new companyI am delighted to be representing an Edinburgh-based manufacturing company as they recruit for a Buyer to join their procurement team. Based just outside of Edinburgh city centre, this company specialises in electronics manufacturing throughout the UK. This role is based on-site with some flexibility once you have settled into the role. Your new roleDuties and responsibilities:

• Placing orders with suppliers
• Assisting with RFQs
• Managing and liaising with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders
• Manage POs and ensure products are delivered on-time and without incident
• Reconciling invoice queries and providing a high-level of customer service

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Buyer in the manufacturing industry
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Strong IT skills - including use of MRP and ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail
