A large, renowned Construction Consultancy is actively recruiting a Quantity Surveyor at Associate Director level in Edinburgh.
THE COMPANY
The client is an independent, privately owned Consultancy with offices across the country. They have a great reputation in the market and are working various exciting projects within Private sectors in the area. Sectors include Commercial, Residential, Heritage, Hotels, Leisure & Music, Student Accomodation and more, offering a range of new build, refurb and fit out projects from an existing pipeline of repeat clients. The company culture is friendly, encouraging and collaborative.
THE POSITION
They are actively looking to recruit an Associate Quantity Surveyor to work alongside a team of experienced Chartered professionals and get involved in a range of projects from inception to completion. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be given the opportunity to take ownership of projects across a range of sectors which provides an excellent opportunity for someone who has perhaps become pigeonholed in one sector with a larger Consultancy.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful Quantity Surveyor must:
- Have a degree in Quantity Surveying
- Be MRICS qualified
- Have 10+ years experience working in a Quantity Surveying role (consultancy preferred)
- Experience managing large multimillion-pound projects across a range of Property sectors
- Have good communication and client facing skills
