Position :Project Manager - Building Construction

Employer : Construction Servces

Gross annual salary : £30,000 to £34,000 (depending on designation)

UK location : Edinburgh, Scotland

Working days / hours : up to 40 / 48 hours within a 5 day week

You will be familiar and well-versed in complex Multi trade Conctruction industry Responsibilities include ensuring internal and external teams meet requirements by completing jobs properly according to their contract or agreement with the client. In addition, they must be provided concrete guidance on what everyone needs to do and the most efficient way to complete each step.

Duties and responsibilities as summarised above include;

  • Establishing and communicating project objectives
  • Pre determining the quality, time and cost of the project
  • Procuring any needs for the project, such as materials, teams and technology
  • Identifying, appointing and managing subcontractors, including terms of agreements
  • Developing timelines and schedules for completion
  • Monitor project progress and setting deadlines
  • Overseeing all work done as part of the project
  • Ensure site security and health & safety measures
  • Ensure duty of care for the wellbeing of all personnel engaged in the project
  • Closing the project and ensuring all objectives have been met
  • Solve issues that arise
  • Monitor project progress and setting deadlines
  • Ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Evaluate project performance.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior tradesman, where applicable

To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements:

  • Eligibility to live and work in UK
  • Successful project management with strong leadership skills
  • The knowledge and capability of working to the highest quality standards withstate-of-the art equipment and technology
  • Be familiar with brandproject, such as materials, teams and technology
  • Identifying, appointing and managing subcontractors, including terms of agreements
