Your new role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing all costs related to construction projects in central Edinburgh. Your responsibilities will include preparing cost estimates, managing budgets, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring that all financial and contractual aspects of the projects are handled efficiently. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Civils/Groundworks area.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Office and construction management tools.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
