Join a reputable property management company known for exceptional service to property owners and tenants. We are seeking a motivated and personable Lettings Assistant to assist with property viewings and support our property management team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to transition into the property industry, with comprehensive hands-on training provided.
Day-to-day of the role:- Conduct Property Viewings: Organise and conduct property viewings for prospective tenants, ensuring efficiency and minimal disruption.
- Provide Information to Potential Tenants: Offer detailed information about properties, including features, location, rent, and tenancy terms, and address any queries from prospective tenants.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop professional relationships with prospective tenants, providing timely and professional responses to enhance the company's image.
- Support the Lettings Process: Assist with administrative tasks such as processing applications, preparing tenancy documents, and conducting reference checks.
- Property Presentation: Ensure properties are clean, tidy, and well-presented for viewings.
- Feedback and Reporting: Gather and communicate feedback from viewings, reporting any issues or concerns to the Property Manager.
- Maintain Property Details: Keep property listings and records up-to-date with current prices, features, and availability.
- General Administrative Support: Assist with marketing materials, listing updates, and tenant onboarding.
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role within property management, lettings, or estate agency is desirable, but not required as training is provided.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally and confidently.
- Customer Service: Commitment to outstanding customer service, addressing tenant needs and concerns effectively.
- Organisational Skills: Strong time management skills, capable of scheduling and prioritising multiple tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in presentations, documentation, and feedback.
- Driving License: A valid UK driving license is preferred for travel between properties.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in property management software, email, and online listing platforms. Familiarity with Google Suite, Reapit bookings, and SME property management software is advantageous.

This is a full-time temporary position working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with one evening until 7pm, totalling 39.5 hours per week. The role is initially for 6 months, with a review for potential permanency.
