I help to keep people safe and warm by…

  • Supporting the Project Manager in developing and delivering a portfolio of projects that demonstrate the pathway to hydrogen blending within the GB gas grid.
  • Attending and informing groups with key stakeholders, including, but not limited to, Network Licensees, the Energy Regulator, SMEs, Government, and Project Partners.
  • Maintaining and monitoring project progress, considering timescales, finances, project risks, and key deliverables while providing regular reports on critical metrics.
  • Delivering business insights by analysing and visualising data to support SGN's Future of Energy strategy.
  • Supporting conversations with stakeholders to influence and build SGN’s reputation for expertise in the transition of the Energy system.
  • Presenting data and conclusions in appropriate formats for internal and external users, highlighting benefits to the business and external parties.

What you’ll need

  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline and a commitment to energy transition.

  • You're a skilled communicator who engages both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You're confident in leading discussions within multidisciplinary teams, managing divergent perspectives, and representing the team externally.

  • You understand data governance and how it works in relation to other organisational governance structures. You can participate in or deliver the assurance of a service.

Data Modelling and Data Visualisation

  • You use the most appropriate medium to visualise data, telling compelling stories that are relevant to business goals and actionable.

Logical and Creative Thinking

  • You respond to problems in databases, data processes, data products, and services as they occur. You initiate actions, monitor services, and identify trends to resolve issues.

Project Management
