Research Officer - £180.58 per day (Outside IR35) - 23 Months - Edinburgh (hybrid)

Parity is delighted to partner with our client, a public sector organisation, who are looking to recruit Research Officers to work on a public inquiry on a contract basis for 23 months. You will be based in offices in Edinburgh and you will receive a daily rate of £180.58.

Responsibilities will include carrying out analysis of information gathered by the wider Inquiry teams for research purposes, producing literature and reviews of research and ensuring the implementation of public policies.

I would love to hear from applicants who have worked on complex, large-scale research projects and dataset and has;

  • Expertise in gathering, managing, manipulating, and analysing complex and sensitive data for research purposes.
  • Excellent IT literacy, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience of using research analysis software such as NVivo, RStudio, Jamovi, and Power BI
  • Database management, data entry and policy analysis experience
