Your new company:I am delighted to be working with a national Financial Services organisation as they search for a Category Manager to lead their Shared/Professional Services spend. This is an excellent company which values autonomy and professional development above all else. Your new role:In this role you will be:
- Creating and implementing category plans for the wider company
- Focusing on achieving cost savings in your category
- Liaising with suppliers and stakeholders daily
- Engaging in a mix of BAU and project work
- Managing and negotiating contracts
What you'll need to succeed:The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent procurement experience within a similar category i.e. managing MSPs, HR services, consultancy spend etc.
- Experience in Financial Services (or other regulated environment) is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to take initiative and work autonomously
- Strong commercial acumen
