VIQU have partnered with a leading company within the energy industry who are seeking a Business Development Manager to promote sales in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Renewables sector. This role requires occasional travel throughout Scotland.
Duties of the Business Development Manager:
- Achieve agreed sales targets for new business within the T&D and renewable energy market.
- Develop a sales and growth strategy for the business, identifying viable market segments and customers to target.
- Work with all departments in the company, to develop effective matrix management working, embedding governance of bids, resource and risk management.
- Promote the company’s growth throughout Scotland.
Requirements of the Business Development Manager:
- Previous experience of developing new business within the T&D or renewables sector.
- Sales or technical experience with: SCS/Protection Systems/PLC/SCADA/DCS/ Telemetry systems.
- Deep understanding of the T&D industry.
- Ability to build and develop strong relationships with customers.
- Understand the principles of matrix management.
