Accounts Assistant - Edinburgh (Accountancy Firm)
The Recruitment Co. is partnering with a well-established accountancy firm in Edinburgh to recruit an Accounts Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and further develop your career in accounting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and processing of VAT returns
• Bookkeeping for a range of clients
• General accounting support including accounts payable/receivable
• Assist with month-end and year-end procedures
• Use of Xero accounting software for client work

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 year's practice experience preferred, though not essential
• Working knowledge of Xero
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
