Robert Half are working with an established organisation based in Dumfries and Galloway. Our client specialise in the wholesale distribution of a wide range of products. This is a full-time position. You will work within an established finance team and the role will require you to work in the office five days a week due to the nature of the work.
Suited to an experienced finance assistant, bookkeeper or accounts assistant, this role will develop key accounting skills in a fast-paced working environment.
Role Responsibilities
- General office administration, reception switchboard operation, stationary ordering, filing and maintenance of general office process.
- Purchase Ledger processing of invoices and supplier payments.
- Supplier reconciliation
- Purchase order review
- Processing of accounts payable accruals
- Provide absence cover for Sales Ledger processing
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Must have:
- Highly experienced within Purchase Ledger
- Well versed in using Excel
- Pro-active attitude
- Positive mind-set
- 37.5 hours per week
- On site parking
- Employer pension contribution
The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
