Search are supporting the recruitment of a Finance Assistant for our client's Edinburgh office with hybrid working. If you are an experienced Finance Assistant looking to join a supportive and collaborative team with a clear route of progression and development, you would be encouraged to apply. Your key responsibilities will include:* Process large volumes of financial transactions, including invoices and expenses.* Manage credit control activities.* Perform bank and account reconciliations.* Prepare and file VAT returns, including month-end reconciliations.* Assist managers with various client-related tasks.* Set up and maintain online accounting software.* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders. * Handle filing and document management tasks.Skills and experience you'll ideally have:* Experience working within transactional finance.* Proficiency in using financial software and systems.* Numerate with an attention to detail.* Strong communication skills with ability to engage internal & external stakeholders* A proactive approach to managing multiple financial tasks and deadlines.What's in it for you:* A salary range of 25k-32k, depending on experience. * A comprehensive benefits package.* Hybrid and flexible working options. * Development and progression opportunities.
