Location: Edinburgh.
Salary: 28,000 per annum.
Recruiting for a skilled Duty Engineer to join a leading hospitality team in Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of building systems and services within a hotel environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including Legionella and Asbestos management.
- Monitor and maintain essential systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and pool plant equipment.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and effectively manage planned preventative maintenance.
- Utilise CMMS/Electronic FM software to track maintenance activities and ensure smooth operations.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience: Experience in a hospitality setting, ideally in larger/complex hotels.
- Qualifications: Ideally holding at least 2 of the following:
- IOSH
- Legionella Duty-holder
- Asbestos Duty-holder
- Pool Plant Operator
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding and experience with CMMS/Electronic FM software.
- Education/Training: Preferred background in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related fields.
