?Flora Stevenson After School Club is one of the largest After School Clubs in Edinburgh, providing childcare daily for 80 children with over 120 members. The post requires a creative, flexible, enthusiastic, cheerful, reliable, responsible and assertive individual who has good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team to deliver a varied activity programmes for children aged 4 to 12 years. Working under the guidance of our Club Manager and Assistant Manager to

  • ?Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children school to enjoy a wide range of play, learning and leisure?activities.
  • Organise a daily routine that meets the emotional, social, physical and intellectual needs of the children.
  • Help plan, organise and run a holiday club during the February, Easter, Summer and October Holidays (Additional hours available)
  • Work in partnership with parents, carers professionals in order to promote the well-being of the children.

A Level 3 qualification in Playwork, Early Years or equivalent is desirable but not essential. Candidates should have experience in a similar role or childcare setting. We offer training in the following Food Hygiene, Child Protection, Paediatric First Aid, Infection Control Scotland and and more.If candidates wish to undertake their SVQ3 FSASC will support all staff to complete this.

FSASC will carry out a PVG check and register any successful candidates with the SSSC. FSASC will pay the membership fee and PVG check fee.
