Due to growth my client, a leading occupational pensions consultancy, are currently seeking an experienced pensions professional (defined benefit) to join their national projects team in a Team Leading capacity. Duties will include:

  • Leading a team to ensure that pensions projects (data prep, GMP etc) are delivered on time and in budget
  • Liaising with a range of stakeholders both internal and external, to ensure delivery of projects
  • Identifying areas for process improvement
  • Support your team and identify any areas for learning and development
  • Conduct regular reviews in order to manage team performance and any potential shortfalls
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth whilst ensuring team time is used wisely
  • Support Relationship Managers and GMP teams regarding project queries

Applicants must possess pensions projects or GMP experience and ideally have managed / supervised a team in the past. Strong knowledge of "defined benefit" is a must and exposure to projects work in a pensions environment is extremely desirable. The role may suit a current Pension Projects specialist who is looking for their next challenge.
