Morgan Hunt is seeking a Software Developer with a strong AWS background for a public sector organization to assist in transitioning from legacy systems to cloud-native solutions.
The role involves developing and maintaining internal registers, designing Digital Extracts, and implementing a case management system.
Candidates must have experience with AWS technologies, Typescript, Node, ReactJS or NextJS, and Java with SpringBoot.
The position offers a salary of £480 per day outside IR35 for a month-long contract with potential for extension.
This is a hybrid role based in Glasgow or Edinburgh, requiring relevant experience and skills for job suitability assessment.

Morgan Hunt are working with a large public sector organisation to recruit a Software Developer with a strong AWS background to help with the clients move from legacy on-premises registers to new cloud-native solutions. The main objectives of the role are to:

Play a key role in the evolution of internal registers, both from a features development and maintenance perspective.
Design and implement the Digital Extracts as an integrated feature or journey.
Play a key role in designing and implementing the solution for a case management system for our internal staff.
Collaborate to identify and implement options for simplifying the architecture of the registers, reducing complexity and leading to better maintainability.

It is essential that candidates have experience with the following technologies:

AWS including: CDK, Serverless (Lambda), S3, API Gateway, Cloud Formation, AWS RDS for Postgres
Typescript (or modern Javascript) and Node.
Vanilla ReactJS and/or NextJS.
Jave and SpringBoot.
