Lorien's leading banking client in London is seeking an Automation Test Specialist for a new project, with a hybrid working model requiring one day on-site per week.
The role demands previous experience in creating test automation frameworks within the regulated banking or financial services sector.
Candidates must have expertise in data projects, particularly with technologies like Kafka, Mongo DB, and Hadoop, as well as experience in streaming and batch technology stacks.
The ideal candidate should possess SME-level skills in designing and architecting test automation solutions and have full ownership of the test automation process.
The position is offered via Umbrella and requires a salary of £65,000 to £75,000, with a preference for candidates having at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Working in a Hybrid Model of 1 day a week on site.

Key Skills and Experience

Previous experience of creating test automation framework in a regulated environment within Banking or Financial Services sector,
Experience of working in Data Projects- Kafka/Data Lakes
Data is all around them, so it is key they have experience of working with Streaming & Batch technology stack - Confluent Kafka, Mongo DB, Stream sets, IBM CDC, Hive, Hadoop, API, Informatica, Airflow, Cloud Technologies, JMeter/Groovy/GitLab and other similar technologies
SME level skills and experience of designing / architecting test automation solutions, ability to creatively problem solve is critical for success
Must have owned the test automation process not assisted
90% of role must be test automation nothing else
