Test Equipment Engineer / Edinburgh / £60per hour PAYE

Night shift (10pm to 6am) with flexibility

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplined engineering team delivering technical solutions for complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integration of Test Programs: Hardware and software integration using languages such as CVI, C, C++, and C#.
  • Development & Deployment: Design and deploy test programs, systems, interfaces, and cable assemblies.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with internal/external customers, IPT functions, and engineering sub-contractors.
  • Support: Provide support to production and ensure customer acceptance.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • HND or Degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Integration experience with software languages (CVI, C, C++, C#).Experience in NI Test Stand environment.
  • LF/Digital and/or RF/uW hardware integration.
  • Offsite/Overseas test integration.
Desirable Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with hardware design processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of product safety legislation.
Intrinsic Factors:
  • Location: Edinburgh, with potential travel across the UK and abroad
  • Shift: Night shift (10pm to 6am) with flexibility
  • Pay Rate: £60 per hour (night shift rate)
  • This is a one year temporary contract with the potential to extend
  • Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the UK, have SC security clearance, and a minimum of 5 years permanent residency in the UK.
  • Security Clearance: Clearance to see caveated information such as UK eyes only and ITAR.
