Our client, a prominent player in their industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrator to join their dynamic Procurement team in Edinburgh. You will provide vital support to the Procurement and Commercial Team, ensuring the smooth running of procurement operations. Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Procurement and Commercial Team, assisting with day-to-day tasks.
  • Raise corporate purchase orders and ensure compliance with procurement documentation.
  • Maintain procurement databases and systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Handle routine inquiries and correspondence related to procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with other teams to coordinate procurement efforts and achieve organisational goals.
  • Carry out ad hoc administrative tasks as required by the Head of Procurement.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • A team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Strong IT proficiency in MS Office Suites.
  • Demonstrates honesty and integrity at all times.
  • Commercial awareness (desirable).
  • Experience with SAP or other procurement software or ERP systems (desirable).
  • Proactive in suggesting new and improved ways of working (continuous improvement).
  • Previous experience in a similar role (desirable).
