Your new companyI am delighted to be representing a global FMCG company as they recruit for a Category Specialist to join their Edinburgh procurement team. This is a 5-month FTC position with the team, and they are looking for someone who can start ASAP.Your new roleResponsibilities:
- Contract management for direct procurement
- Contract management
- Monitoring KPIs and SLAs
- Supplier relationship management
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing forecasts and business reports
- Data gathering and analytics
- Forecasting
What you'll need to succeedSkills and Attributes:
- Expereince with direct procurement (packaging, raw materials etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of contract management
- Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- Quick thinker with an analytical mind
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
