Senior Procurement/Sourcing SpecialistCan be based anywhere in the UK | must be comfortbale with occasionally travel to a local office when requiredFull Time roleASAP start | long-term contract role of 1 to 3 yearsDaily rate negotiable & TBC depending on level of relevant experienceSearch are delighted to be supporting on this project for a global manufacturing & supply business with offices around the UK.The main purpose of this role will be to provide full technical & commercial procurement support across a number of ongoing project being undertaken by the business.Duties involved in this role will include:* Assisting in the preparation of technical bid packages for customers* Preparing supplier service level commercial specifics* Creating technical and commercial RFPs* Conducting & supporting with supplier and internal pre-bid meetings* Answering any RFI questions in a timely manner* Performing technical and commercial bid tabulations* Negotiating technical and commercial proposals* Engaging with internal legal resources* Contract formulation & framework agreements* Carrying out contract follow-upsIn order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:* Extensive previous Sourcing/Procurement experience carrying out duties in line with the above - this experience is ESSENTIAL* Candidates from an engineering background (specifically in paint/coatings) would be preferred although this is not essential* Prior experience in large capital projects would also be preferredIf this is the role for you, apply now!Please note that only applicants who have the required skills and experience detailed above will be considered for this role.
