  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the transport department, including route planning and vehicle allocation.
  • Lead and motivate the transport team to achieve operational goals and maintain high performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transport legislation, including health and safety standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance and servicing of the vehicle fleet, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Monitor and control costs, optimizing fuel efficiency and operational expenses.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on performance and compliance.

  • Proven experience in a transport management role or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.

  • The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
