Environment Manager

Our leading Financial Services client is looking for a highly skilled Environment Management Specialist to join their team for a 6-month initial contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the test team to create shakedown checklists, potentially covered by automation.
  • Assist in the implementation of the TEM Strategy.
  • Create environment-specific landscape and data flow maps.
  • Build an environments management information repository.
  • Assess NFT environment fit for purpose and document recommendations.
  • Create additional test environment capacity.
  • Provide Environment Management representation in daily scrums, working groups, and ad-hoc meetings.

Required Skillsets:

  • Strong skills and experience with data technologies such as IBM DB2, Oracle, MongoDB, Hive, Hadoop, SQL, Informatica, and similar tech stacks.
  • Attention to detail and strong ability to work independently and navigate complex target end state architecture (Tessa).
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Agile testing processes and methodologies, preferably Scaled Agile Framework or similar.
  • Good experience and skills within streaming technologies like Confluent Kafka, Streamsets, MongoDB, IBM CDC.
  • Knowledge of public/enterprise cloud technologies (AWS EC2, S3 Bucket, GCP, Azure) is advantageous but not required.
  • Some skills/experience with automated testing frameworks (Java, Python, PySpark, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins) is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong Environment Management skills.
