Our leading financial services client is looking for a Technical Analyst to join their team for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension.

We are building a new mathematical modelling tool in python and deploying this to an existing AWS object store and API stack, with an excel UI (C# .net mid-tier (initially)). Our data payloads are significant. A TA is needed to assist the PM track, monitor, control and assure the end-to-end technology solution (Jira). This will involve working with tech delivery (2 small workstreams using Kanban) a Data Analyst, a Business Analyst, and a Product Owner, from requirements capture (produce tech stories), attending/leading tech discovery/issue resolution meetings, reporting on delivery to plan & scope, change impact assessments and appropriate SDLC documentation. Ideally the TA will have experience of developing python coded mathematical models, AWS Cloud infrastructure design and change delivery, and understand the need for, and deliver to, good technical governance. Previous developers or early career Cloud Designers who will still get their hands dirty with project admin would be ideal.

Their ultimate deliverable will be the assure that we have a complete technical build ( a modelling app and AWS infra) to manage complex data payloads at input, processing (calculations/mathematical modelling) and outputs (records). This TA will join the project at MVP delivery phase and in 2025, will work on systems enhancements and new product introduction (UI, Calculations, Outputs).
