Frontend Developer - Angular

FPSG seeking a skilled Frontend Developer with expertise in Angular and TypeScript to design, develop, and maintain responsive, dynamic web applications. Working with a new entrant to the Scottish Tech scene.
As a Angular frontend developer your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing dynamic web applications using Angular (also Node.js, TypeScript)
- Building reusable components and libraries following best practices and coding standards.
- Ensuring consistent and user-friendly UI/UX.
- Writing and maintaining unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality, bug-free code; promptly debugging and resolving issues.
- Conducting code reviews to maintain code quality, security, scalability, and performance.
- Monitoring and optimizing frontend performance to deliver efficient and effective services.
- Collaborating with customers and Colleagues (Product managers, Backend Engineers, UX/UI designers)
To be successful Angular Developer in this role, you'll need experience in:
- Advanced recent skills with Angular (inc dependency injection, directives etc)
- Demonstrable recent modular and maintainable TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Node.js both backend communications and server-side rendering.
- Integrating RESTful APIs or GraphQL into frontend applications.
- Ensuring compatibility across multiple browsers and devices.
- Experience with micro frontends architecture for independent development and deployment.
- Recent familiarity with testing frameworks (ie Jest, Jasmine, Karma)
- Exposure and understanding of backend concepts. (Express, Node.js)
- Exposure to performance tools and techniques. (lazy loading, code splitting etc)
Please note a flexible hybrid working policy is in place, however attendance in the office and/or on customer site in the greater Edinburgh location is needed, therefore a reasonable commutable distance from Edinburgh City is required.
