Location - Edinburgh

Pay rate - 12.30 - 14.50 per hour

Hours & Shifts - Full time Day shift - 08.20-17.05 (Mon-Thu) & 08.20-13.25 (Fri) plus 1hr flexibility each day on this


Role responsibilities

  • Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Pack, stock, organize and rearrange products in warehouse, in a neat and clean manner.
  • Organize and maintain records of inventories up to date.
  • Monitor and manage inventory control.
  • Manage and handle shipping, loading, and unloading of products.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Drive, vans, trucks, passenger cars handling warehouse/logistics materials.
  • Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care.
  • Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse.
  • Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials.
  • Manage inventory as well as warehouse, transportation, and other logistics processes.
  • Processing received deliveries and distribution to factory efficiently.
  • Processing production orders, and all other material/component requests to factory.
  • Administer stock control.
  • Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost
  • Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met.
  • Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Manage and develop logistics team.

  • Previous Skills working within a similar stores/logistics environment
  • Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, and distribution

Qualifications

  • Confident using windows-based PC programmes

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Full BPSS* Screening (*Baseline Personnel Security Standard), including proof of Legal Right to Work, Criminal Records Check, i.e. UK DBS and Drugs Screening.
