Robert Half are excited to be working on an interim opportunity for our client based in Edinburgh.

I am looking for a Technical Writer for an initial 5 week contract, hourly rate will vary depending on experience between £23 - £26PH.

You will need previous experience translating complex technical concepts into user friendly documents, working closely with the development & product teams to ensure accuracy.

  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for the Insurance Underwriting API, including user guides, reference manuals, and online help
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand the API's functionality and use cases.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and adheres to company standards.
  • Continuously update and improve documentation based on user feedback and changes in the API.
  • Create visual aids, such as diagrams and flowcharts, to enhance understanding of the API.
  • Review and edit documentation created by other team members to ensure consistency and quality.
