Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading principal contractor in the Energy from Waste sector to recruit a Steel Structure Supervisor on a 12 month minimum contract for its London site.
The Steel Structure Supervisor role comes with a day rate of 450.
Key skills
- Lead execution of steel structure works, ensuring compliance with project drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Identify and address potential delays, technical challenges, or resource issues to avoid disruptions.
- Supervise and coordinate the assembly, erection, and installation of steel structures in accordance with NAECI regulations and project specifications.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan and execute tasks effectively.
- Must have experience supervising steel structure erection in infrastructure projects.
- Must also hold an SSSTS / SMSTS and CSCS card.
- NAECI (National Agreement for the Engineering Construction Industry) training or certification is also highly desirable for this role.
