The Role:
- Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant.
- Salary: 80-100 per day, depending on experience.
- Location: Enfield, North London.
- Start Date: Immediate.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both teachers and pupils, working with children who have SEN, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs), and learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who need additional support.
- Assist teachers in delivering structured and engaging lessons.
- Support children with speech & language interventions, phonics, and numeracy skills.
- Help pupils with autism, ADHD, and behavioural needs develop social and academic confidence.
- Collaborate with the SENCO, class teacher, and therapists to provide the best support strategies.
What We're Looking For:
- A graduate in Psychology, Education, SEN Studies, or a related field.
- A strong interest in child development and inclusive education.
- A patient, positive, and empathetic approach to working with children.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- An ambition to pursue teacher training, educational psychology, or SEN support in the future.
