Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading principal contractor in the Energy from Waste sector to recruit a Site Surveyor on a 12 month contract for its London site for 20-30 hours per week.
The Site Surveyor role comes with a competitive day rate.
Key skills
- Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives
- Set out, level and survey the site
- Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
- Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
- Carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors - this is site-specific and may not be the case on all projects.
- Must be flexible to work between 20-30 hours per week
- Energy from Waste (EfW) or similar industry experience will be highly beneficial
