The Company
Our client, is a successful operator in the environmental energy sector.  They have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HSQE Manager to join their Energy Operations and lead and ensure health and safety best practice in a busy operational environment. 

The Role
• As Senior HSQE Manager you will support the Head of Department to create a positive safety culture.
• As Senior HSQE Manager you will be focused on providing HSE support and advice to the operational and maintenance teams in the Energy Facility.
• In this role you will engage and liaise with contractors, ensuring safe operating procedures are adhered to and undertaken.
• In this leadership role you will manage a small H&S team within the energy operational facility.
•You will be responsible for reviewing all RAMS across contractors and internal operational teams.
•You will implement HSQE training where needed.
•You will drive H&S performance improvements and liaise with the Executive Team.
•As required you will represent our client with enforcement agencies and industry bodies.

The Ideal Candidate …
• Will have excellent knowledge of HSE legislation, including CDM.
 • Will have experience working at senior management level.
• ideally will have HSE experience from the power generation, energy, utilities sectors,  heavy industrial or waste and recycling environments.
• Will have excellent communication skills being able to build strong credible relationships across diverse working teams.
• Will have experience managing multiple contractors
•Ideally will hold NEBOSH or equivalent qualification.
