About the Role
As a Testing and Inspection Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting thorough inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and installations.
- Performing tests to ensure compliance with relevant safety and quality standards.
- Diagnosing and resolving issues identified during inspections.
- Preparing detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project execution.
What We're Looking For
- A qualified and experienced engineer with a solid understanding of testing and inspection processes.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to upholding safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualifications.
- Professional certifications in testing and inspection (e.g., City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395).
- Proven experience in a similar role within facilities maintenance
- Full UK driving license (preferred).
