Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading principal contractor in the Energy from Waste sector to recruit a Quantity Surveyor on a 12-month minimum contract for its Northeast London site.
The Quantity Surveyor role comes with a day rate of 550.
Key skills
- Commercial management of subcontract packages from tender selection to award, management throughout to the settlement of final account.
- Measurement of Civils, Steel Frames and multiple process disciplines.
- Payment Application / Certificates Management.
- Variations/Field Extra Work Order Management (FEWO).
- Claims Management (both Head and Subcontract).
- Must hold experience in Energy from Waste (EFW) or similar industry
- Must hold BSc Hons or MSc in Quantity Surveying and hold an MRICS membership or working towards this.
