Are you an SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a role in a structured and well-supported SEN unit? Reeson Education is recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN provision in a primary school in Enfield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, or communication difficulties, who wants to work in a setting designed to meet the needs of children with additional learning challenges.



The Role:

  • Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN Unit).
  • Salary: 80-100 per day, depending on experience.
  • Location: Enfield, North London.
  • Start Date: Immediate.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work in a small, well-equipped SEN unit, supporting children with varied learning and sensory needs.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and small group support in a structured SEN setting.
  • Assist with learning activities, using adapted teaching techniques to support engagement.
  • Implement speech & language interventions and sensory-based activities.
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and the SENCO to provide consistent support.
  • Help create a calm and structured learning environment for all pupils.


What We're Looking For:

  • Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or similar role.
  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children with SEN.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Experience with speech & language support, sensory strategies, or behaviour management is an advantage.
