Where you will be working:

A purpose-built care home that is based in the centre of Edwinstowe, near Mansfield. The home has been made very homely, and has a selection of garden areas, in line with our values and ethos. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care to 49 residents.

  • Minimum of one years’ experience in residential / nursing home setting.
  • Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning.
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • To ensure knowledge is gained to demonstrate a good understanding of the prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults, recognition of the signs of abuse and procedures to follow in the event of an allegation of abuse.
  • Satisfactory Care Character Assessment
  • Live within 30 minutes of the home.

Your day to day responsibilities:

  • Promoting our resident’s independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing and to give input during shift handovers.
  •  Leading our team to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents by providing the highest standard of care.
  • Supporting our carers to provide personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
  • Administering medication.
  •  Promoting our resident’s choice, dignity and independence and all times.
