Job Title: Engineering Maintenance Manager - DayShift

Location: Goole Doncaster area , M62, M18, A1, A19 access is good

Pay Range: £50,000 – 52,500 Plus excellent Bonus and Package

Contract Type: Permanent

Client: Multi-site Global PLC manufacturer

Working pattern: Monday to Friday Dayshift 

We are hiring a newly created role for a Day shift-based Engineering Maintenance  Manager , responsible to the Site Engineering Manager within a process manufacturing environment This role will suit an Engineering Team Leader looking for more responsibility, accountability, and career development on days, or you may be a days-based manager, already. You want to join a multi-site manufacturer for progression and career challenge. 

Key Responsibilities – Engineering Maintenance Manager - Dayshift

•You will lead the engineering maintenance function, in your areas, providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service

•Leading, coaching, and developing a team of multi-skilled engineers, setting and delivering KPI’s; striving for world class standards

•Responsible for ensuring that our facilities, assets, and machinery produce products to their maximum efficiency and output

This includes leading a Total Preventative Maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical and automation equipment

• Implement standardised preventative, corrective and condition-based maintenance systems; a TPM system for the site

•Assisting in driving capital projects for the site – we are installing and commissioning high speed fill and pack lines

•You will monitor both maintenance and capital expenditure budgets

 

Qualifications and Requirements – Engineering Maintenance  Manager – DayShift

•A recognised engineering qualification, NVQ Level 3 equivalent, with experience of leading engineers

•A manufacturing background is preferred but completely open on backgrounds it’s a leadership role

•Excellent Leadership Skills required

•Lean Manufacturing experience – RCM/TPM/OEE and related lean techniques

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to inspire and lead teams

Knowledge of Planned Maintenance and PM development

Knowledge of Lean and Asset Care techniques

•A proven track record of the meeting agreed engineering maintenance performance targets
