Location: Egham, Surrey Please Note: This job is office based, so only apply if you can commute daily.

Position: Experienced Practice Bookkeeper

Salary: £25,000-35,000 (depending on experience)

What You’ll Do:

Manage bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.
Process invoices, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations with precision.
Prepare VAT returns, management accounts and assist with CIS and payroll tasks.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, FreeAgent).
Collaborate with accountants to provide seamless financial support to clients.
Offer insights and advice to clients to help them streamline their financial processes.

What We are Looking For:

Experience: 2+ years in a bookkeeping role within a small practice environment.
Qualifications: AAT Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential if you have solid experience.
Software Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and FreeAgent.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and an eye for detail to manage multiple client accounts.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive client relationships.
Problem-Solver: A proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimizing bookkeeping processes.
