Engineering Caretaker
CantelloTayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Engineering Caretaker to join our client based in Egham
The successful Engineering Caretaker will:
- Assist the engineering department in maintaining the estates property, out buildings, paths & walkways, plant rooms, swimming pools, water features, electrical and mechanical equipment and lighting
- DIY and HVAC
- Carry out in house preventative and reactive maintenance
- Manage schedules for HVAC and plant, lighting, domestic white goods, water features and swimming pools
- Service all swimming pools and water features
- Carry out legionella checks, flush cold and hot systems and take readings
- Service HVAC across the estate
- Take AC temperature readings and log these onto the system
- Carry out generic PPM plant room checks
- Supervise contractors on site
- Carry out fire alarm testing
- Jetwash all paths and roads across the estate
- Check sash windows, pullies ropes and guides are working correctly
- Carry out mechanical servicing of all machinery on site
- Waste management including cleaning of bins
- Cleaning of all oak gates and servicing motors and safety functions
- Cleaning and maintenance of all external lighting
- Checking sump chambers and drain systems and logging any defects
- General DIY including carpentry, electrical work and plumbing
The successful Engineering Caretaker will have:
- A pool plant qualification
- Facilities Management background
- Knowledge of how to repair plant and machinery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of AC repairs and servicing
